What is the SG Movement?

Sir Grandpa believed in kindness, adventure, and leaving the world a little better than you found it. During ENCOR 1000, rally participants carry Sir Grandpa Challenge Coins to spread unexpected acts of kindness in every community we visit. These moments connect us all and remind us that a simple gesture can make someone's entire day.

I was serving a couple during a really busy dinner shift. We chatted a little, and they were genuinely kind from the moment they sat down. When I picked up the check, there was a $200 tip and a Sir Grandpa Coin underneath it. The note said, "This made our day. We hope it helps make yours. When the time is right, pass the coin on." I cried in the back for a few minutes. It had been one of those weeks where everything felt harder than usual, and that simple act reminded me there are really good people out there. The money was an incredible gift, but the coin is what I'll keep. I can't wait for the day I get to hand it to someone else and keep the kindness going.
